In "Blueprint for a new Repertory" that accompanies the Synthesis 8.1, "Ren" is in the abbreviation list as being kidneys. Doesn't specify a species; I assume human kidney tissue.

Re: Ren
Radar/Synthesis lists the remedy abbreviation Ren. = kidneys; authority
being
Alexander L. Blackwood, "Manual of MM, Therapeutics & Pharm., with
Clinical Index"
Consulting that volume within EH suggests that Ren. (kidneys) is an
autonosode "renal glomerular substance" .. "freshly prepared"

Re: Ren
Thanks Jim and Jenny and Dave for your research. My betting is that it is a
kidney
tissue as Dave suggests.

Hi V.T.,
"Blueprint for a New Repertory" is found in printed vertion of
Synthesis.
I think this online document may explain, if you lack access to print
version.
www.wholehealthnow.com/homeopathy_software/syn3C2.html
To retrace steps to finding remedy "Ren." --
In Radar, press F5 key, this will bring up dialogue where you can do
remedy extractions; press the box #1 and you can type in the remedy or
select from list.
I found Ren. this way, performed rubric extraction (a grand total of one
rubric)
-then viewed the author attribution of Synthesis.
I then went to EH & found the book which was mentioned as
author-attribute, read the text in order to verify & discover the source
of the remedy.
best,
Dave Hartley
