Hi Shannon,
He writes... Ceanothus Americanus Ø, and he uses 3 to 5 drops in water.
But i have also read Ceanothus 30.
Or he talks about small doses.
A quote from the book...

``I have giving latterly in spleen affections five to ten drops doses
of the mother tincture of Ceanothus several times a day, and, with a
very few exceptions, i find it acts curatively just as well as the
smaller doses, and causes no inconvenience. However in a few cases, i
had to go back to my former smaller doses, as the larger ones caused
pain in the left side and sometimes palpitation.``
Yes true, a lot can be done with food or supplements, there are several
good Yahoo groups for pet owners with knowledgeable persons to give
guidance for pets with cancer.

Aileen if you are interested you can join this group...

I agree with George too, a lot of the pets problems go back to the
yearly vaccine they receive.

Hi Marleen and Aileen,

To me this sounds very encouraging! Burnett is one of the most respected
"old-time" (and still very current) homeopathic authorities (which I mention
in case Aileen is not familia with the name??? And apologies if she is!)
To me, this passage sounds as tho it would be *very* appropriate to try,
doesn't it??? I assume that his reference to "smaller doses" might mean
potentized doses, as I can think of no reason why he would begin by
preference with e.g. 5 drops, if he'd found that 1 was the standard, and the
best he can say about drop doses is that they act "just as well as" smaller
doses, despite occasional inconvenience. Only reason I can think that he
would use MT in preference to potentized, then, would be convenience, easier
to get??? So it sounds to me as tho either MT (and I'd presume to start
with only a few drops, as a dog is smaller than a human) or very low,
perhaps 6c, 6X, or etc.???

Anyone else have an opinion???
Thanks for this!
Shannon
