Hecla comments/List members

Post by Rhonda Bird »

available..>>>

I presumed members of this list are homeopaths, or students of homeopathy,
not anyone simply who happens upon a homeopathy-related site. Maybe showing
my ignorance of the workings of the net, but the 640 odd members Ardavan has
mentioned I presumed were professionals/students. I apologise to anyone who
has taken my (what I thought was a generous offering) of something which has
worked wonders for me as to be an invitation to self-treat. Maybe I should
have added that of the 20 or so people I have treated with these remedies,
they have all been under my professional care.

More discretion in future ...
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,

As I see it, there's a need to balance the fact that our immediate community
of listees is probably (just guessing) about 1/2 students or professionals
and about 1/2 interested others.... and the fact that archives are publicly
accessible (not to mention the fact that emails get forwarded all over the
'net) ... with the necessary & desireable spirit of sharing which you
showed.

I hope you did not take my post as personal censure... and I do want to
personally thank you (!) for your response.
If we could sort of keep in mind that as we are addressing ourselves
generally to other homeopaths & students, there is also this other
contingent of readers, both in the moment and those who'll stumble across
archived posts at some later date, where there will not be present, the
context of this community of people who are mostly aware that self-treating
of chronic conditions by neophytes is not the best idea...

best,

Dave Hartley
