I have been trying to order a new bottle of the Thayers medicated witch hazel and have found that due to Prop. 65, it can no longer be shipped to California. I assume that this is because it contains a small amount (i.e., .1 %) that's a tenth of one percent of camphor, as a topical analgesic. I had wondered why I could not find it locally in any store where I had purchased it previously.
So, in CA you can have marijuana delivered to your home (legally), but you can't buy medicated witch hazel. (!)

Remember, vinegar is great for mosquito bites and is still legal--both apple cider vinegar as well as grain vinegar.

Good to know that vinegar is good for soothing the itch from insect bites, too. Thanks, Deb L.

I have used it for years. Also, use it as a repellent when I work outside
