Your last sentence is directly to the point and it is called Cognitive Dissonance and works just like religious faith based belief systems.

That is why you cannot argue the case with people.
Having looked at this kind of problem for decades my understanding is that Americans in particular have no real understanding of history

or mass social manipulation. Further, they have no understanding of the structural nature of our culture and how it works. People have

been raised to look only so far as the tip of their nose. So they will argue about 1 politician or another but have no concept that these

people are working within a system that is self-perpetuating. Just this week I have discussed this at least 3 or 4 times with people and last

nite this became the subject of a proposed study group. My concern even here is that people will narrow their perspective to just the

specific arena of study and not connect it to the larger context within which it functions. That narrowness is what we saw help destroy

the Movements of the 1960-70's.

thanx for sharing these links and your letter. just spent all afternoon printing documents of varied focuses and from various authors.

I did copy out a couple of these links as they are so readable and the graph of measles deaths disappearing before the vaccine is so critical.

Well, it seems that I am in very good company.

My own daughter, raised in a homeopathic home, is getting the MMR now that she lives on her own in another city. Sent her loads of references and documentations, she is "pissed off at my attempts to brainwash her", her words...

Guess our conversations will now be limited to "hi, bye"...

Dr Roz, it takes about 10-15 years after children leave home for them to come back asking for your help for issues that conventional medicine can’t help.

Sounds like your daughter is like mine and so many others. Whatever is important to you our kids

will reject on principle just claim their own authority no matter how off it is. Hopefully she will

come back to home base thinking before any serious damage is done.

Thing is, I have raised them on the principle of rejecting authority and checking facts for themselves...she seems to have forgotten the last part, independent checking...

My anxiety was so high after my gd was born due her parents deciding on vaccinating that I couldn't

sleep for about 3 weeks. It took a big effort to try and let at least some of that go before it made me sick!

My gran is 8 now so I don't worry about regressive autism but I see a lot of behavioral things that might not

have been. I also see metabolic things but much of that I think is due to the crap diet of the parents before

the birth and now they do little to encourage better eating for the child. She is not an overeater but I never

see her eat anything but processed foods and junk and she has always been chunky. I feel increasing problems

as she hits puberty and after.
