Pharmacies that carry rarer remedies?
Hey Homeopaths.
What are your favorite pharmacies (that'll ship to the US) for more unusual (single) remedies?
I tend to look at Helios Pharmacy, Hahnemann Labs and Remedia Pharmacy but would like to expand that list.
Thanks!
Rebekah

I thought Remedia had stopped shipping to the U.S.
You might look at Gujons in Europe (Q potencies) and Bengal Allen in India. The latter offered pretty comprehensive kits at very reasonable prices; don’t know if they still do.
Peace,
Dale

Re: Pharmacies that carry rarer remedies?
Hi Rebekha,
I wonder if there was enough homeopathy in the States so many pharmacies could be viably competing. There are probably plenty of ways to cheat, so the reputation of a company should be very important.
Most of my remedies come from Bengal Allen in India. They were 2 dollars a bottle 20 years ago and have proved to be unfailing over the years. (the homeopath was not always equal to her remedies).
Dr. Master said that he liked Cell Tech in Madison Wisconsin. Somewhere in my doubting mind, I wonder if they pay him or give him remedies to recommend them. He uses so many Indian remedies that I had never heard of. So, they must have a very large collection. He was specifically implying that all his remedies were bought there. Seems crazy since he works in Bombay.
Back in the day 20 years ago, there was a company called Cell Tech that sold blue green agae. Don't know if they are related. That Cell Tech came out of Oregon I think and harvested the green agae from a lake. Lake Klamath. Has anyone heard of it? Is this a different company?
Best,
Ellen

Re: Pharmacies that carry rarer remedies?
Thank you! I'd forgotten Gudjons as a possibility. They don't have what I'm looking for either. Nor does Cell Tech (I remember the blue green algae craze! not sure if it's the same company). Farokh Master also recommends other pharmacies so I don't know if he has any arrangement with that pharmacy (which seems more like a distributor). He prescribed the remedy I'm looking for actually and said to try helios (they don't have it) and remedia (awaiting a response). I don't see it on the Bengal Allen site but while it's pretty it's kinda confusing to use. I'll keep searching.
Glad to have a growing list of pharmacies. I'll put it all in one place for future reference.
Best,
Rebekah

In the US, I have never used anything but Hahnemann Labs and in Washington DC (Homeopathyworks)

Oh, Yes, have used them numerous times. They are pleasant and quick. Just very limited in
what they carry and some costs a bit higher than Hahnemann. They will get anything for you but
if that is the case, better to go elsewhere where the remedies are already on hand.
