Re: measles outbreaks
Broadcasting things (statements, events) in WHOLE is a very big plus in their column, and based on that assertion alone, I would like to explore it. These days I don’t have a TV, and on the radio or computer, not sure what to look for. What do either / any of you suggest?
I know that some of us are DEEPLY disturbed by facts and factors in today’s news that have NOTHING to do with full-vs-partial presentations; e.g. there is simply NOT ANY way to blame “spin” or etc. for people’s distress with parts of it. Some of the differences are… hm, let’s just say “innate”, e.g. a tolerance for bullying and certain (let’s say) character issues and behaviors. And anguish over… well, effects and impacts of those. (I am trying to speak mildly and broadly.)
However, I also know that some truly urgent issues might be said to transcend personality issues, and go far beyond any of the people currently involved. And I am a believer in gathering information, so am very willing to explore, would love suggestions. (I’m certain I won’t share the appreciation for some of those sources, but perhaps others I will.)

Re: measles outbreaks
Oops sorry, now I see some have already been offered. I should get in habit of reading oldest first.

Re: measles outbreaks
Hi,
I have an inner sense of integrity. I do not have time to scour the networks, or to get involved with all the hate statements and actions being made by those in power. I can't side with obvious ignorance and neurosis. I just work on what I can do to make a better world. If an inner sense of what is right is not enough to filter the power of hate, then so be it, but I would not stand on the side of hate acts or speech. Looking at and judging individual acts does not require the filter of any network.
Best,
Ellen

NOT true anymore - that is how it used to be but all has changed. FOX is actually the ONLY mainstream media with true journalists now and telling the truth

Re: measles outbreaks
But I do. And despite your vituperative accusations, I pay close attention to news and where it comes from.
FOX News makes for the most ignorant in the public. And nothing has changed.

I join Soroush — and I do live in the U.S. Rupert Murdoch doesn’t know or care what the truth is. He doesn’t hire competent journalists and pay them to dig deeply into issues in search of the truth; he pays them to do hit jobs on people he dislikes, Dr. Andrew Wakefield being one example.
