I might be sleep deprived....but what about simply limiting strictly and strongly the intake of fast carbohydrates???? Seems like a no-brainer to me, instead of using a remedy/herb/drug to increase the tolerance to carbs, which does not remove their potential harmful effects.

Reminds me of patients in my time in conventional medicine who asked me angrily "Why don't you medics create a pill that allows us to eat and drink and smoke whatever we want without harm?"

Where are homeopathy and natural medicine going???? Sigh...

Joe are you back? Anybody: I just had an accident: I was taking meat for dogs out of the freezer. This 3-5 lb pkg. of frozen meat fell out and bonged me on the head!

It hit the back of my head… below the crown, left side. It didn’t tear the skin, but it’s making a bump! Seems fairly swollen. I feel a bit dazzled. Should I take Arnica 200c and put a cold pack on it? Hot or cold?

Thanks!
Vicki

I always use arnica as a first remedy. Aconite might be indicated for shock.
I once treated a traumatic head injury with a medical prognosis of ". . Imminent Death' with Arnica ( high ) That was 14 years ago nf patient is still alive.

Thanks for responding Maria. You are always so helpful.

I did 1 dose of Arnica 200C, but I have the 30C if better. The doggie meat hit my head, but not directly on the top. There is a bump. It doesn’t hurt.

At first I felt weak like I might faint… but it went away. Do you think I should go to sleep with a hot or cold pack on it? I think it’s okay… but should I take another dose and then another one in the morning?

3:00 a.m. and I’m still working on this paperwork.

Thanks Maria,
Vicki

In acute situations or in emergencies, any potency of the indicated remedy will act, but the repetitions will be different and should be adapted depending upon the patient's reaction.
