GEMMOTHERAPY

Post by Bob Needham »

I believe it was this group that there was a good discussion on Gemmotherapy about 18 months ago. Over the past 3 or 4 years I have been gradually introducing Gemmos on an individual basis along with the repertorized primary homeopathic remedy looking to produce a more synergistic healing. I have witnessed when applying both the appropriate repertorized homeopathic and the primary (my term), indicated Gemmo there seems to be an enhancement of the healing of the primary symptom. Sometimes secondary symptoms will clear after the primary treatment, but more than not they will linger on. Wishing to learn more, I have been seeking more information on Gemmotherapy and the Gemmo combinations that can address, what I call, the secondary issues or conditions a patient may have. My search has led to a somewhat frustrating and time-consuming endeavour in searching through various resources, which proved to be of little or no help. However, I recently purchased Dr. Joe's books, "Dynamic Gemmotherapy Beyond Gemmotherapy", Vol 1 and Vol 2., which I am still working through.

Vol 1 - 597 pages of which 545 pages are dedicated to the Materia Medica for 55 Gemmos. That is a 160 to 190 % greater coverage than what I have come across in any other book.

Within each Gemmo’s Materia Medica there is a section titled, “Frequently used Associated Gemmo”. This was one feature that I was looking for, to hopefully produce a synergistic action with a second Gemmo, resulting in a more complete treatment. Also described within each Gemmo’s Materia Medica are significantly related comments throughout on Homeopathy, Herbalism, Ayurveda, Research reports and publications.

In addition, there is information on: How to use the books Vol 1 & 2, Posology, Precautions and a section on the Historical and Elementary background of Gemmotherapy.

Vol 2 149 pages - 71 pages of Therapeutic Applications covering organ systems as well as various physical, mental and psychiatric conditions, providing the recommended Gemmo(s) with supportive descriptive information of their action.

- 78 pages of Clinical Integrated Repertory specific to states of disorder and their associated Gemmo(s).
“Dynamic Gemmotherapy Beyond Gemmotherapy” is a quality source of extremely valuable hands on information, which puts a quantity of useable information at your fingertips. This is something I was not able to find elsewhere. Thank you Joe for your time and effort in bringing all this together.
I have also been pleased over the years with the Bio Lonreco Inc Dr. Reckeweg company. They provide high quality Gemmo Concentrates and Complex’s.

If anyone has further comments or wishes to open up a discussion on Gemmos that would be great.

Thanks, Bob.

It has been a pleasure to write it, albeit a long winded task....

Joe.
