Thick blood?
Re: Thick blood?
If it’s not high iron, could it have to do with hydration — how much water does she drink? Edema is (counter-intuitively) one possible sign of dehydration.
The other thing that edema brings to my mind, is inadequate protein. (Many years back from a mis-directed fast, I became very dehydrated in spite of drinking a gallon or more of water daily, and the fix for me was combination of protein, and adrenal support.)
Protein, water, and maybe omega 3s?
What do you know about her diet and etc?

Re: Thick blood?
The thick blood they say is her INR 1.9 who's is much better than it was. 2-3 is considered normal.
So she is doing much better than before.
Now have to try to determine is the remedies are working and to leave it alone or to provide more support.
Will check on her diet. Thanks.
Maria.

Clots everywhere, lungs, legs, perhaps more.
INR. 1.9. Diagnosed CHF years ago, edema in heart, lungs, legs. Hard to breath, lower lungs maybe as much as 1/3 no longer inflate.
Doing well on low potency of Adonis, asthma under control with Drossera and Blata.
Interesting case.
What a huge difference with patients who go not use allomeds. They respond so much more quickly.

Have a look at Apocynum Cannabinum.

Enzymes, proteolytic enzymes, bro again, papain, serrapetidase and natokinase. Ir, you and or you can drink lots of water. Thick blood can be due to many things such as diabetes, in which you need to maintain optimal blood sugar. You should get some blood tests done to see what the cause is. Thick blood can be dangerous and impede micro circulation to the capillaries and tissue causing to to die--necrosis.

I urge you to take her to a doctor and to have the blood analyzed. '2 something' does not cut it as a test result, because there are so many different kinds of tests that are analyzed in a full blood analysis.
How did you determine that her blood was thick? It is a serious problem because if the blood is to thick, it won't be able to get into capillaries and feed tissues nutrients. This is a problem that many diabetics experience causing them to lose their finger, toes and legs and eventually their lives if left untreated.
Has she been checked for high iron?

Re: Thick blood?
This is a clinical patient. She has doctors who are monitoring her. She had no quality of life before homeopathic treatment. She has been told all the horror stories by her allopathic doctors.
She is doing well with homeopathy.
She gets her blood tested regularity, I am just posting what she told me. I was concerned when her doctor said thick blood.
But not as concerned as before.

Re: Thick blood?
Find a healthy way to dramatically up water consumption. I use DIY hibiscus tisanes, soups, smoothies, etc. Increasing hydration doesn't work so well if it is the result of a command or theory. The person has to want to drink more; they have to look forward to drinking more.

Can anyone give me thoughts and suggestions for thick blood ?
Pt has a hx of blood clots. Is doing well overall with homeopathy and is not on blood thinners. She has her blood checked periodically and it is 2 something. (As reported to me second hand). She is on remedies that have her functional, mobile and pretty comfortable but this blood thickness may be too dangerous to ignore. She had arnica for emergencies, but how do I repertorize or prioritize this kind of situation?
