frozen

I understand that heat will destroy a remedy. I have been taught that cold will not.

What about the remedy bottle (remedy in water) getting frozen? Anybody have an problems with that?

Have mailed remedies that have frozen. No problem. Had Eileen Naumen for a mentor when I started practicing. She kept her remedies in the glove compartment in her car under the hot Arizina Sun and never had a problem. They were dry doses. Don't think the heat hurts them.

The problem with this is that it came from work Boiron did and the temperature was in *Celsius*. No way you will get 120c in a car trunk. The whole car would be well into melting by then-- at least the whole plastic interior!

I kept remedies in an envelope in my glove box for years-- through summer and winter-- and they always worked.

I do have a nice "collection" of old remedies where some of the sugar globules have turned light brownish-yellow. They always worked."

Freezing any liquid will keep the crystalline structure intact, which will be present once thawed at room temperature.

Heating above 70 degrees C create friction (or also the opposite, friction that created heat above 70 degrees) that destroys that structure, which is why the remedy is lost.

The boat FRAM sailed the Northwest Passage in early 1900's. The passage took 3 years and most of the time they were stuck in the ice.

The medical officer used homeopathic remedies. They are still there!

Last year at the NCH conference the doctor who heads the London Homeopathic Hospital was discussing some remedy research. They found succussing an aqueous remedy dilution raised the molecular temperature to a huge number which caused the molecules to melt then cool in seconds. Almost like playing 'crack the whip' with the molecules.

I am not so sure about the remedies being denatured that easily.
