I have been treating a 70+ yr old who has bladder cancer and although the tumour is now growing less aggressively (he keeps having it removed as it grows) and is substantially smaller he has insisted that he has the BCG irrigation of the bladder treatment which is 6 treatments at weekly intervals. He takes BCG 30 before and after the procedure and now doesn’t get the backache side effect he did at first but now he has a lot of irritation in the urethra after the procedure and is having to urination 10 times during the night let alone go a lot during the day. Now I am sure this irritation is caused by the mechanical friction that will occur with a tube going up the urethra each time but has anyone any suggestion of remedies for this.
I looked it up on my rep and came up with Ceanothus – which I had in , in a 3x potency and have told him to try it for 4 days tds and if no easier to try Calendula 6.
Has anyone any other ideas.
Thanks

Re: any ideas please
As I recall, Staphysagria is indicated for irritation from frequent catheterizations.

Re: any ideas please
Thanks for that – so Shannon was correct. Thanks Shannon . I will get the lowest dose I have to him to take daily at the moment as he still has one treatment to go.
