Maria, I am not keeping track very well, so this probably not all true. Also, there are probably other issues. I am intending to state facts without my opinions. I am hoping that others will correct me.

1. Peter Walker from the Rife forum is saying he has prepared a site to keep our archives. But it costs him 300 dollars to do this. Before he said it costs $200. He has done some of the mechanical work already on his site assuming that we will commit to the move.

2. No one came forward to put our archives on your site. The British Institute of Homeopathy in the USA. I understand that you need a technically competent person.

3. Peter is asking that we donate something like $10 dollars if we can manage that as individuals to meet the bill. At $300 dollars, Tanya is saying if 20 people donated $15 we would foot the bill. He is asking for donations for all the sites that he is archiving.

4. If you go to his site, it is private. The content of his site is not mainstream so he is also vulnerable to attack.

5. Several people have said they have downloaded the Archives, so we have not lost them.

6. The question is where should we put them and where should we carry on our discussions?

7. The online mail format that we are all accustomed to appears to be not totally possible on Peter’s site. I am not clear about the mechanics of that.

Best,
Ellen Madono

Just to have this clear:

- Do I understand correctly that all known members of the former Minutus
Yahoo list (about 3000+) have been send an invitation, per (about)
19/12/2019, by Peter Walker, to (re-)join the group on
https://rifegroup.groups.io/g/Minutus ?
- And if so, is it correct that as per Januari 7 2020, this (new) group
has 80 members?

If both of the above are true, I’d say that the *vast* majority of the
subscribers to the former Minutus Yahoo group hardly care about saving
messages/archives, or the continuation of the former Minutus list on
Yahoo on some other forum or whatever.
During the last 3 years of the Minutus Yahoo group existence, the group
has been used by just about 160 posters. The vast majority of the 3000+
members obviously are sleepers, lurkers, non-readers of email, ignorants
etc.
I think we, and Peter, should realise that the number of people that
*do* want a continuation of the former Minutus Yahoo group may be
between 80 and 160, and maybe even less than 80, making Minutus actually
a minor group.

Several people *have* downloaded all Minutus messages (and stated they
did), so the message archive is not lost. For my own convenience (as
stated before), I’ve transferred these Minutus messages into a Notepad
..txt file, free for download, but in view of the factual response from
Minutus members, I expect few will be interested in this.

If I were Peter, I would have given up on saving up anything of the
Minutus group long before. It must feel like flogging a dead horse.

And I wish to add to this:
If you *do* read and understand all messages regarding this subject,
there cannot be any room for asking questions that have been answered
days or weeks before. Read you messages.

Hi Ellen,
after all the emails and information, I have released, I am still amazed at how much confusion there is in this group. What I am seeing is people not bothering to read the messages and then assuming the worst…

Let me point out that my business rate for helping customers in my business is 40 Euros/hour and if I were to add up all the hours I have spent answering misinformed emails like this one, the money would be enough to move your group several times over. Instead I am stupid enough to do this all for free…
I have added my answers below…

Hi Hennie,

As you made a good post, I will give it a short answer.
Groups and forums always have a lot of lurkers. Many are afraid to post because they are afraid of asking stupid questions amongst so many experts. I have heard that sentiment many times from lurkers on my groups. Just because people do not post, does not mean they are not reading and learning. As I have the full member list in Excel, let me give you an overview:
1264 members receive emails individually

774 members receive a daily digest

1339 Members are set for no emails
As you can see, there are at least 2038 people who receive these messages in their inboxes, the rest are currently receiving nothing, but many of those will still be wanting to read online. This is typical of groups and forums – a large number of silent readers that you should not underestimate.
“If I were Peter, I would have given up on saving up anything of the
Minutus group long before. It must feel like flogging a dead horse.”
Believe me, every time I read a crazy conspiracy email, I ask myself seriously why I am bothering at all. After all I have nothing to do with homeopathy although I do know one of Germany’s best homeopathic practitioners - Bernhard Muschlien. Have any of you ever heard of him?

Another business of mine is running Grayfield Optical and I dubbed one of his films into English, many years ago.

https://www.grayfieldoptical.com
I think your group will find this film very interesting:

Symbiosis or Parasitism:

Peter, my hat is off to you for your tenacity!!
I notice we’ve made a LITTLE progress in the fundraising — up to $170. Come on people, what’s up???

The costs Peter is asking reimbursement for are REALLY TRIVIAL compared with what’s being done, and also compared with the value of it. WAKE UP, get a grip, and let’s get on with this!!!!!!

Shannon
(Who’s long since put in $100, and is really hoping not to have to put in more, but will do so if push comes to shove because

THIS IS

JUST

TOO

RIDICULOUS.)

Please people, let’s get this moving!!!!!!!!!!!

(And if someone’s got a better idea, great — let’s do BOTH!)

Thanks Shannon! I put in $20 after much confusion about the process.

Hi Everybody,

To make the incoming payments transparent, I have listed them with reference numbers, but without names or emails here:

https://groups.rifeforum.com/minutus.php#paid
To those that donated, please check they are listed here. If you made a donation and it is not listed, please send me an email with details of your payment to help me find it.
The current status is $176.40 and we need at least $309 to be able to import your archives and $420 if you want the new forum to be without advertising (to cover the hosting costs).
To make a donation, choose one on that same page, click the green “Add” button and follow the instructions to pay via PayPal or Credit Card. As I see the incoming payments, I will add them to that list (not automatic).
Deadline is the end of the day on Saturday.
