How weird!! But thanks — now it doesn’t look so scary :-) and I’ve made my donation / purchase, thank you!
So….. Anyone else find this worth pitching in a bit for? Come on, step up! :-) (Or do we need more discussion…?)

Dr. Joe,

That system does need a new registration, but should be easy. Lots of others have had no problems.

I managed to register this time. Then when trying to use Paypal, the system tells me that my access to Paypal is coming from Berkeley, California....and I am in New Zealand.

Needless to say I closed the page immediately; tried again after rebooting the computer, same thing... call me paranoiac but I smell a rat....

Hi Minutus Group,

A small update on setting up the new forum for your group.
There are some technical issues still to be solved, in order to import your archives. The importer they had was for Facebook groups, so that has to be rewritten. That will happen in the New Year so I suspect it will be at least two weeks to a month before your new forum will be ready for use. Until then, just continue to use the new group on groups.io – you have not been forgotten.

The funds to pay for the costs of setting up your new group are not sufficient either. You can see the current stand and donate here: https://groups.rifeforum.com/minutus.php - The move to the new forum is not possible until we can pay the costs.
I am just in the process of releasing my own Christmas video message to my own Rife Forum. The story of your group is mentioned on the video at the 12:00 minute mark. You can see the new Christmas message here (no login required):
https://www.rifeforum.com/forum/threads/8644
I wish everyone on the Minutus group a wonderful crossover into the next decade and a wonderful New Year.

Regards

Apparently my post a few days ago was not seen.... I went on the donation site, registered, logged in, then tried to use Paypal. It immediately asked me to confirm it was me as the log in happened from Berkeley, California, and I am a long way from there. Immediately shut down the computer. Tried again later, same thing.

Call me paranoiac, but that looked like someone trying to hijack my Paypal account.... I smell a rat...

Any computer people have any idea why that might have happened?
Would it have anything to do with his location so far away on another continent, or would that not be relevant?

Also — I’d be curious to hear others’ reasons for not contributing, is anyone willing to give their reasons for not?

Hi Dr. Joe,

There is nothing in our implementation of the PayPal system that would cause that. Are you using some kind of VPN or proxy server that changes your IP address location?

I had a quick look at the email headers from your email and your use of GMAIL and use of an IP6 address is changing your identified location to California, so maybe that is the issue.
If it bothers you, just use the credit card payment, instead – which uses the latest api from Stripe to process the payment.
