I would like to report the success of this remedy in knee pain and swelling 2ndary to an unstable patella.
This in someone who has had many states and different remedies such as Platina , Black Mambo and Scorpion have been useful.
She was an unwanted child and her life has been full of trauma often self inflicted.
Just interesting that Sticta helped the knee and also enabled her shop for food as her avoidance of any human contact makes life very difficult for her. She has excluded most people from her life and I am about the only one remaining though I too have been excluded from time to time as I do not understand she says. A situation which I do not enjoy.
Just wondering what the deeper state of Sticta is.
Thank you, Jean

Re: Sticta pulmonaria
case
Patient had knee pain and swelling after falling on the knee. This pain had hampered her daily activity and made it difficult to do a lot of her daily tasks as well as her dance training. She also suffered from tendonitis in her ankle. Based on the presenting symptoms and her mental symptoms, she was prescribed Sticta pulmonale 30c bid for one week.
After the remedy the crepitus in the knee was greatly decreased and the stiffness and pain had improved.

Lynn, which mental symptoms did you use?
I went searching for remedies in the same natural order and there is no remedy that is better known in the lichen family.
Jean do you use computer programs? You can search the remedy itself in certain ways.
I have never used it but am interested in the discussion about this remedy and its use for rheumatism in the small joints and certain forms of hysteria and delusions of legs floating. One eye catching rubric is MIND; TALK, talking, talks; general; listens, does not care whether anyone (1) : 2stict.

Be careful about reading health books—you may die of a misprint ~ attributed to Mark Twain (1835-1910).

Re: Sticta pulmonaria
Yes did explore Ref Works but wanted more.
Dale shared some research done by Massimo
his
parents can’t help him at all, he has no security. He’s in this state of perpetual fear of death, [not sure about this in my case ]and home is the unsafe place.{relevant ]
"This gives you an idea of how poorly protected they feel, how poorly integrated is an experience of violation of their integrity. If had good protection from parents, should not be hard to overcome, but this doesn’t happen with Sticta.
Also sensation of being out of the body at times.:
This would certainly apply to my client. Thanks again for interest shown, Jean

Re: Sticta pulmonaria
This client continues to progress in small ways.. Most significantly she has less fear about going out. She previously could only do this if escorted by a large dog and recently loosing that protection was a big challenge.
Her knee also continues to improve.
On reflection of the case over the years there certainly was some hysteria particularly if lost sleep and has mentioned leaving her body at times.
Thank you all.. Minutus used to be such a magnificent group, Jean
