Re: Losing fillings

Extremes ... in temperature (hot drinks concurrent with ice cream/chewing on ice) can cause hairline fractures in teeth possibly resulting in a broken tooth and need for a filing.

Fever protocol - please

From experience with this kitty's mother who was FeLV also it looks by symptoms that her hematocrit might be dropping dangerously low. Her breathing is now shallow and rapid, gums white. Vet told me Lab tests would be back today but they didn't come in. Is there a remedy I might try now in an emerge...

Re: Fever protocol

Sheri, I'm just guessing if a fever is high it wouldn't be good to prolong a high temp over several days? Irene did provide a fever reduction protocol. Notes said Ferr phos 200 increased O2 in the blood. Also in mssg. notes if Ferr phos not bringing fever down in FeLV to go with Belladona (only have...

Fever protocol

I’ve posted in the Catwell group, haven’t heard any responses yet and need to bring a fever down in my kitty. I’ve followed a Ferr phos 30c dosing protocol - point.5 cc’s every 5 minutes times 10 doses. It didn’t reduce it enough. Irene’s suggestion for immunocompromised cats is for Belladona. Is it...

Re: survival twin syndrome

Hello Maria,
If appropriate would you post the link to Marcus Kuntosck's article? The author's name doesn't bring up any results with a search. My twin died within 24 hours of birth. We were born at 26 weeks. I'd be interested in reading his perspective.

Thank you.
Best regards,

Re: Homeopathic assist against fleas

Thank you, Pauline. I'll order Pulex 6c immediately as flea season never abates in Los Angeles. A friend mentioned the benefits of washing floors, etc. with diatomaceous earth in the water and letting the solution dry place. I've read that flea larvae can live for years e.g. in a crack between floor...

Homeopathic assist against fleas

Have those w/ pets had success with homeopathics in helping them remain relatively flea free. A healthy animal with good Constitutional support has the best odds. For those who aren't able to do multiple constitutionals, are there a few remedies that could be experimented with while flea season is i...

Re: First Aid remedy for chemical poisoning

Flea meds are neurotoxins affecting balance? Revolution (Selamectin) enters the bloodstream, don't think Frontline or Advantage do.

Re: Help for Feral kitty -may be dying

Thank you Maria, Elham, Luann, Shannon, Gisela. I placed several spring water dishes w/ single remedy in each at both ends of kitty colony for Angelo's best chance towards healing or easing transition. I'll assume remedies are viable in the shade for several days even if film forms. RN friend has fe...
